Has in Common That Can Practically Guarantee Your Online Success

Want a formula
for success?
Look at those
who are succeeding online and see what they have in common.
Actually, don't
waste your time. I've already done it for you...
1. A hot product
line that originates with them. To be really successful online,
you need a product that is yours. Something that you personally own
the rights to market and keep 100% of the profits from. At the foundation
of all of the heavy hitters is a product line that they control.
Of course, you
can do this in a couple of ways: (a)Develop your own product from
scratch , or (b) Purchase reprint rights to an existing product.
After you develop
your own product to offer as your main source of sales, add back-end products
to create multiple streams of income. Back-end products are products
or services that complement your main product. For example, if you
sell airline tickets, you might offer car rental or hotel accommodations
as back-end products. These would be products that your existing
customer is likely to purchase anyway.
Affiliate programs
are great back-end products. Allan Gardyne of AssociatePrograms.com
has a super directory of affiliate programs, indexed categorically for
you to easily find programs that would complement your main product.
He also has some very helpful articles on how to benefit from affiliate
programs. http://www.associateprograms.com
2. A website that
convinces people to "click." When I visited the websites of the guys
I listed above, I found a wide variety of layouts and designs. Graphically,
they were very different. Their choice of writing style varied, as
did their offers themselves. One thing they had in common, however,
were sales letters that convince people to "click."
These website
sales letters have a purpose. That purpose is to (a) Convince visitors
to "Click" on the order button and make an immediate purchase, or (b) Convince
visitors to "Click" on the submit button to join an ezine mailing list
or receive a free report or ebook, so they can follow-up and make the sale
in the future.
Something
conspicuously absent from these websites is ANYTHING that would distract
the reader away from the purpose. You don't find links that lead
the reader off of their sites. In fact, you don't find a lot of links
period. No slow-loading graphics that force us impatient folks to
leave prematurely. Nothing that would distract the reader.
Just a killer sales letter that consistently convinces people to "click."
And let me tell you, at these guys' sites...
...there's
a whole lot of clickin' going on!
3. An affiliate
sales force doing most of the selling for them. I don't know of any
hugely successful web business that doesn't have an affiliate program.
Whatever you do as far as marketing your web business, imagine 100's and
even 1000's of other people marketing your web business in a similar manner.
See the huge potential here?
I believe that
an affiliate program is THE absolute best way to earn money online.
I'm not talking about promoting other people's affiliate program, I'm referring
to having other people promote YOUR affiliate program.
There is no better
way to earn a large amount of money than to start your own affiliate program.
It is the best method of marketing online, hands down. With an affiliate
program, you literally network your way in front of the eyes of hundreds
of thousands of leads that you never
would have even known existed were it
not for affiliates promoting your product.
We recently launched
the Profits Vault. A new affiliate joined up and sold 8 units for
me in less than 16 hours. I profited $160 from ONE affiliate in less
than ONE day without doing a thing. Multiply that by 100's just like
him and multiply it by days and weeks and months of
promoting the program, and you can see
how huge, consistent sales are generated automatically, with very little
actual advertising of your own.
4. A useful,
selling machine ezine. Whether it is Ken Evoy's "Sales from the Edge"
or Terry Dean's "Web Gold", all of the heavy hitters publish an ezine.
For most, it is a weekly ezine.
Some ezines are
nothing more than glorified sales letters. Their only existence is
to pitch ad copy to you like you were taking batting practice. And
you better believe that folks are lined up to hit the "UNSUBSCRIBE" link.
Then, there are
those ezines that aren't blatantly trying to pitch their "program of the
month" to you, but their articles and tips are re-runs from something published
last year. On the internet, content is king...and it better be fresh.
I want you to
back up and re-read the line immediately to the right of the number 4 up
there. Did you notice the two key words here? They are "useful"
and "selling." You will not find any better combination for a successful
ezine. Period.
All of the successful
web business owners publish ezines that provide high quality, useful content.
They share information that is of great benefit and value to their readers.
They give honest evaluations and reviews of products and services, never
endorsing something just to earn a buck. And they gain incredible
loyalty among their subscribers.
Once you establish
that, the selling part is easy. Allen Says has 90,000+ subscribers
on his list. If he so much as hints about a product or service, you've
got several thousand people reaching for their credit cards. Why?
Because they trust a winner. They know he provides only the best.
They have read his FREE content and are blown away by it.
Useful.
Selling. That's what makes an ezine a tool for producing results
online.
And every successful
business has one.
5. A regular
involvement in joint ventures. Don't kid yourself. None of
these guys got to where they are by themselves. They had help on
the way up.
One of the keys
to successful business on the web is to regularly participate in joint
ventures. A joint venture is a project whereby you combine your assets
(customers, advertising, products, services, knowledge, skills, traffic,
endorsement) with those of one or more non-competing individuals with a
similar customer base.
For example:
Your strength might be that you can produce high quality ebooks for sale
online. However, you only have a small customer base. On the
other side of the coin, we have a lady who has established a large mailing
list for her weekly ezine. She needs products to sell, but doesn't
have the time to create her own. This is a joint venture waiting
to happen. You combine your asset (products) with her asset (customers)
and you both can come out winners. You provide the products, she
sells them and you both earn 50% of the profits that neither of you would
have had without the other.
There are literally
thousands of joint venture ideas out there, so it would be impossible to
cover even a portion of them in this article. Suffice it to say that
the heavy hitters regularly involve themselves in joint ventures.
(See our "How to Sell 300% More of Your Product in 72 Hours Than
You Did All Month" report for a crash course in joint venture marketing)
6. A marketing
campaign that spreads like a virus. How many ebooks have you seen
online lately? A lot. I haven't counted, but I know I'd need
more than my hands and toes to count them all. ;-) What about articles?
Same thing, there are a lot of them. Have you noticed that at the
bottom of almost every article and somewhere in almost every ebook is a
line of text that reads something like this...
..."You have permission
to give this article (or ebook) away at your website."
Can you guess
why?
Of course you
can. When you give the article or ebook away, the next person is
going to see the same line. And they will give it away. More
and more people read it and more and more pass it on down the line.
Within just a few short weeks, thousands of copies of the article or ebook
are being broadcasted across the web.
And every single
one of them serves as an sales letter all directing readers back to a website
where a sale is waiting to be made.
Every heavy hitter
uses what is known as "viral marketing." Whether they offer free
software demos or articles or ebooks, they all offer something that permission
has been granted to give away.
And it spreads
like a virus.
Wouldn't you like
to catch that one?
7. An automated
process. If you've established keys 1-6, then it's time to put it
all on remote control. Now, don't get me wrong, these guys still
work. Don't let anyone kid you, a hugely successful business sometimes
brings more work than you had before. So, there is still work.
But, there is also an automated system.
Can you imagine
how difficult it would be to follow-up with thousands of leads every day
if you had to do it all by yourself, one at a time? It couldn't
be done. What if every order that came in during the 8 hours you
are asleep was missed if you were not awake to process it? You'd
be out of business. Can you just envision in your mind all of the
work involved in tracking the affiliate sales of thousands of resellers
if you had to do it by hand? Your office would
look like a paper factory.
Every successful
online business has an automated process established. A system of
producing leads, following up on potential customers, promoting their affiliate
program, processing orders, providing customer service and much more.
An internet business can be set up to virtually run itself.
And chances are
you'd never even know it just by looking. The messages you receive
are personalized and written as if they were really talking to you.
The orders are processed in a timely manner, as if they had a full-time
staff working around the clock. You can check your stats in "real-time"
showing you up-to-the-minute details of your sales...there must be a programmer
working himself ragged, right!
And the
business owner is sound asleep or catching some rays at the beach.
Isn't the internet
grand?
To recap, all
successful internet businesses have these things in common...
1. A hot product line that originates with
them
2. A website that convinces people to
"click."
3. An affiliate sales force doing most
of the selling for them.
4. A useful, selling machine ezine.
5. A regular involvement in joint ventures.
6. A marketing campaign that spreads like
a virus.
7. An automated process.
Now, I wouldn't be sharing everything you
need to know if I didn't tell you this. It's one thing to know the
7 keys to being successful online...
...it's something
else to know HOW TO APPLY the 7 keys to being successful online.
Fortunately, the 123webmarketing
eBusiness Center has a step-by-step system developed for each
of these 7 keys. Here are just a few things inside our Private Site
that you will find to show you exactly how to apply the 7 keys of successful
businesses...
